This book contains the papers of the “Sixth International Symposium on Tubular Structures (ISTS6)” held on 14-16 December, 1994, at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. The subject's rapid developments are represented by papers on design innovations and inspiring applications. Special attention is given to new developments in building frames with tubular columns. For offshore structures, the latest developments are presented on world wide connection strength data bases, codes of practice, advanced finite element modeling, fatigue and fracture analysis.
